FAQ
How often are stats updated?
For completed games (when you see the scoreboard show up), they are updated within a few minutes. For incomplete games, it'll take up to 3 hours. However, it can take up to 24 hours if a server op does not take advantage of the recommended settings.
Why aren't my stats being updated?
Possible reasons include:
- You did not play on a dedicated server that sends its stat files to DescentValhalla. Send a server op a link to this page asking them to send their stat files to us.
- You did not wait long enough. Stats can take anywhere from a few minutes after a game completes to a day to show up. This is based on how often a server op decides to send us stats. You can try telling your server op to send them more often.
If you are an established server op that has been hosting D3 games for a while,
contact us and we'll set you up with the FTP info you'll need. The process is quite simple. You just run a script that we'll provide you to upload your stats on an automatic basis. We take care of the rest! Veteran server ops are also welcome to send several years worth of stat files for processing. We have an extremely efficient stats processor.
My games won count did not go up. What's up with that?
You've won a game when the level ends and you place first in Anarchy or are on a winning team in CTF or Monsterball. Unfortunately, since D3 does not designate what team a player was on in stats for Entropy, Guardian, Team Anarchy, or Team Hoard, it is not possible to give a win to those players. Blame the makers of D3 on that one. :-)
