Descent is a legendary FPS PC game released in 1995. Destroy enemy ships with
innovative weaponry, barrel-roll your way past enemy bots with 360 degrees of motion,
and hold on for the ride of your life. Descent 2 was released in 1996 featuring
more levels, new weapons, and an afterburner! Descent 3, the final game in
the series, was released in 1999. Featuring true 3D rendering, new ships, and new
weapons, it is arguably the most action-packed of the three. Play all three
in single player for a good story or play them online for free. All you need is
a computer, the game, and Internet access. And yes, this series is still actively
played online!

DXX-Rebirth v0.57.3 Released!
The folks over at Rebirth are working hard! They have put out another release with many key bug fixes. Check it out:
- Added extension-support for FLAC files to play via SDL_mixer
- Vastly reduced delay during Multiplayer matches
- Fixed double collision result when weapon collides with a wall
- Fixed powerups getting lost in a long Multiplayer match
- Fixed incorrect collision-detection when dealing with very large walls
- Fixed briefing support for Destination Saturn and Shareware
- Fixed possible issues when restoring Coop Savestates
- Fixed randomness for smart blobs when picking targets in Multipalyer
- Made homing projectiles a bit easier to dodge
- Added possibility to disable weapon autoselection while firing
- Added ability to manually cycle through whole weapon list, no matter if weapon is auto-selectable or not
- Many other Bugfixes and code improvements
